Thank you to the Smith’s for hosting an eye opening event last night. With great conversation I learned a few things about Nelson County, a few things about politics, and more importantly I found out what matters to some people about the Clerk’s office. It was great. Thanks to those who came out. I will be having several meet and greets and am looking forward to hearing from more folks.

This weekend will be my first official event. I am looking forward to it. I believe that there are many differences between myself and my opponent. I hope that through hard work, persistence and getting my message out I will be able to show people those differences. Michelle and I got to celebrate our 14th Wedding anniv. this past weekend. I am such a blessed guy. My wife is healthy and wonderful, my boys are healthy and excited to be on break. Thank all of you for your support so far and I look forward to meeting many new folks around our entire county. I hope you have a great week.

Wow. New Haven is a great place. I want to thank all of the people who came out to hear from the candidates. It was certainly an encouragement to see all the people out on a Tuesday night. The 12 clerk candidates had some interesting things to say. I think the winner will certainly have earned it. I think that the Primary race could be close. Stay tuned, because there are differences between many of the candidates and myself. I look forward to meeting more of you and working on getting my message out. Most important is exceeding expectations of everyone who visits the clerks office for any reason.
On May 8, 2010 there will be a WBRT Political Picnic at My Old Kentucky Home Ampitheatre. I am scheduled to speak during the 1:00 hour. Please come out to meet different folks.
I will be having a fundraiser at some friends house on June 12, 2010. I will also be having other fundraising events coming up this summer. This is sure going to make it interesting. Please let me know if you would help with an event. I appreciate all of the support already and look forward to meeting many more of you in the months ahead.
I hope that folks are spared injury and loss during the floods going on today and the next few weeks of recovery.
